Colin Russell began his 5 year
apprenticeship in 1974 at C.A. "Clarry"
Hambly's, under the guidance of Harry
"Curly" Bertram, Terry Rumney and Chris
Manning, and has been employed in the
Jersey Plumbing and Heating industry for
over 40 years in all aspects of the trade, and
is a practical plumber familiar with
everyday practices in the Jersey Plumbing
and Heating industry.
Colin Russell is a former national Inspector
for the Oil Firing Technical Association
(OFTEC), former Non-Executive Director of
Andium Homes and had previously owned a
successful Plumbing business (Artisan
Plumbers). Colin has been employed as part
and full time Plumbing Lecturer at
Highlands College in Jersey, Plumbing
Manager at Fuel Supplies (C.I.) Ltd and has
undertaken contracts in Riyadh, Saudi
Arabia and Claridges Hotel in London.
Colin Russell is a Licentiate of the City &
Guilds of London Institute (Degree),
Licentiate of the Chartered Institution of
Building Services Engineers, an Engineering
Technician registered with the Engineering
Council, Member of the Chartered Institute
of Plumbing and Heating Engineering,
Member of the Institute of Domestic
Heating and Environmental Engineers,
Registered Heating Professional and a
Registered Plumber.
Colin Russell was awarded the Master
Plumber Certificate by the Chartered
Institute of Plumbing and Heating
Engineering, the Worshipful Company of
Plumbers and the City & Guilds of London
Institute.
